I have been very lucky in friendship.<\/strong> I may not have the wealth or success that some can claim, but I know what it is to have people in my life who know me well, like me just as I am (well, most of the time), listen to me, make me laugh, support me always, and who make my life better on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

No friendship is an accident\u2026 it takes a lot of hard work. My daughters use to ask me, during some of the more difficult times, why I had so many friends who did so much for me\u2026 I explained that it is not because I am such a great guy, but because I work very hard at making and keeping friends.<\/p>\n

Friendship isn\u2019t about who you\u2019ve known the longest, it\u2019s about who walked into your life, said \u201cI\u2019m here for you,\u201d and PROVED it. For me it has been a few very special people\u2026 time and time again.<\/p>\n

Because of you my friends, and you know who you are, I know what REAL friendship means\u2026 and that is about as lucky as a guy can get.<\/p>\n
