The word \u201cFriend\u201d may have been generally devalued by Facebook brilliantly taking \u201cownership\u201d of the word, but its all about how YOU use it, and the reputation you build. Always keep in mind\u2026 Your brand is what you do, your Reputation is what people Remember and Share.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Since they were young, well before Facebook, I always told my girls that there are all different types of friends\u2026 best friends, close friends, family friends, group members, and acquaintances. They are all \u201cfriends,\u201d there are simply levels of friendship.<\/p>\n

No friendship is an accident\u2026 it takes a lot of hard work. My daughters use to ask me, during some of the more difficult times, why I had so many friends who did so much for me\u2026 I explained that it is not because I am such a great guy, but because I work very hard at making and keeping friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cFriendship isn\u2019t about who you\u2019ve known the longest, it\u2019s about who walked into your life, said \u2018I\u2019m here for you,\u2019 and PROVED it.\u201d For me it has been a few very special people\u2026 time and time again.<\/p>\n

Because of you my friends, and you know who you are, I know what REAL friendship means\u2026 and that is about as lucky as a guy can get.<\/p>\n
