Hi ScottMonty. Pretty entertaining post, and I think it’s not oversimplified at all. (-: This is exactly how we should perceive behavioral targeting, making it easier to understand and somehow taking away the prevailing fear that it is too much of a privacy invasion issue.
Behavioral targeting may be as easy to understand as knowing what your partner wants before doing anything, but certainly, the intricacies lie in its attempt to make ‘knowing’ more effective, thereby resorting to more advanced techniques.
